Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday inaugurated the one-time registration (OTR) system for applications in the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission and its new website.
“In the last five-and-a-half years, the government has provided jobs to more than 5.5 lakh youth by ensuring transparency in the selection process through a fair and discrimination-free system. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has played a significant role in this regard,” the CM said in a review meeting on Tuesday.
Officials informed the CM that the OTR system in the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission would be of great convenience to the candidates.
Through https://otr.pariksha.nic.in/, the candidate will not have to give their personal details repeatedly for various selection tests conducted by the commission. The applicants need to upload their photos and signatures only once. The facility to modify and update personal details, photographs and signatures will be available 24x7.
On the new OTR system, all the information entered in the digital form will be available from anywhere at any given time. Along with this, the information entered in the OTR will automatically be displayed in the application process for different government job notifications. All the information entered in the OTR like personal details, photos, signatures etc, will be digitally verified and it will help the candidates.
“Candidates should be told that OTR is not an application for any examination but only a collection of applicants’ information through which a separate dashboard is being provided for the applicants’ convenience to maintain their profiles. Youth preparing for competitive examinations should be made aware of the new system,” the CM said.
After a gap of over a decade, the commission has developed its new website as well. Efforts have been made to include all the updated information related to recruitment on the website so that all the candidates can get all the information related to applications, examinations, results, interviews, selection, cut-off marks etc on a single portal. It will be immensely beneficial for the candidates.
“Along with this, all the updated information related to performance of the commission like requisitions, advertisements, recruitments, promotions, disciplinary cases etc will also be available at one place on this new website. It will enable the government and commission officials to coordinate better and follow timelines for effective and timely completion of works,” Yogi said.
The CM said requisitions sent by various departments of the state government to the selection commissions regarding vacancies should be linked to the online service. The process of appointments will be further simplified with e-requisition.
