Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will felicitate meritorious students and their parents, who achieved top 10 rank in examinations conducted by UP Secondary Education Board ata function in lucknow on June 22.
A senior government official confirmed in lucknow on Saturday that UP Secondary Education department has send its proposal to the CM for holding a function at lok Bhawan in lucknow next Thursday. The top ten students in class X and XII Board examinations would be honoured.
Deputy Chief Minister and Education minister Dinesh Sharma also confirmed the programme. The Board suggested a cash reward of Re 1 lakh along with an I-pad and a certificate to the students beside honouring their parents too. A total of 30 students were in the merit list for ranking amongst the top 10 positions.
Earlier, the previous Samajwadi Party government had given laptops to all students clearing Intermediate examination.
