Keeping in view the upcoming festivals, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials to pay special attention to COVID-19 and ensure social distancing at all public places and markets and also see that the people follow the protection protocol in letter and spirit.
The chief minister, who was presiding over an Unlock review meeting at his official residence here, also said that the people should be made aware of Covid protection protocol through various media. He said public address systems should also be used at public places to spread awareness about social distancing.
Directing officials to operate the integrated command centres more actively in all the districts, the chief minister said that contact tracing of people coming from other bordering states should be done intensively.
He also asked the officials to spread more awareness about the e-Sanjeevani OPD app so that more and more people were benefited by it.
It may be mentioned here that two lakh people in the state have so far received online medical consultation through the e-Sanjeevani app and UP ranks second amongst the states using this OPD app.
Directing officials to make all preparations for organising the Chief Minister Arogya Mela after Deepawali, the chief minister said that rapid antigen tests should also be conducted there.
Instructing officials to ensure that the farmers got maximum benefits of the maximum support price (MSP), Yogi Adityanath said that paddy should be purchased with complete transparency at the paddy purchase centres.
The chief minister also asked the officials to make adequate arrangements at the cow shelters and to ensure that the caretakers remained there in the night. He stressed on making all arrangements to save cows from cold.
