Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to take all possible help from NABARD in developing infrastructure in villages and asked the agriculture production commissioner to prepare an action plan on this.
“Maximum cooperation and help should be taken from the NABARD for the construction of rural roads and development of useful infrastructure for agriculture. Besides, help from NABARD should also be sought for the construction of warehouses and cold storages. The APC should prepare an action plan on this,” the chief minister said in a meeting in Lucknow on Tuesday.
During his recent visit to Mumbai, the chief minister had held a meeting with National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) Chairman Dr Govind Rajula Chintala and both had agreed to work jointly for improving rural infrastructure.
