CM moves to new residence at Vikramaditya Marg

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav moved out of his father Mulayam Singh's residence to his new bungalow at 4, Vikramaditya Marg on Friday. Putting behind the intra-family feud, SP chief Mulayam SinghYadav and state SP chief Shivpal Yadav took part in the 'house warming' ceremony in the morning.

The top SP leaders later moved to Mulayam Singh's residence at 7, Vikramaditya Marg and discussed contentious issues which have dominated the party proceedings for nearly a month now.   Though there seems no consensus on the selection of candidates for the Assembly elections, Mulaya Singh Yadav reportedly agreed to consider the revocation of the expulsion of the youth outfit chiefs and otehr young leaders, supposedly close to Akhilesh Yadav.

SP sources however indicated that the sacked leaders may be taken back but they will not be given any posts held prior to their expulsion. The expulsion of the four MlCs will also be revoked along with the youth leaders.

Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party condemned the Shiv Sena for preventing film director Nawazuddin Siddiqui from performing the role of Mareech at a Ram leela in Budhana township of Muzaffar Nagar.

A SP spokesman said, "It is most unfortunate that a political party is spreading venom and damaging the social harmony in the state in the name of lord Rama."
