With an aim to make government working more transparent, Akhilesh Yadav government launched the country’s first-ever integrated portal for prompt and effective redressal of the people’s grievances.

The Chief Minister also launched the nation’s first-ever media helpline. Yadav also released a coffee table book on his political career besides the special edition on the birth centenary of great literary personality Amrit lal Nagar.

In the presence of eminent personalities like renowned poet Gopal Das Neeraj and Uday Pratap Singh along with two-time Everest achiever Santosh Yadav, the CM said that the portal jansunwai.up.inc.in was an integrated system where all complaints of people from village level to state level would be monitored by the CM’s office.

Addressing a function at his official residence here on Monday, Yadav said that the portal would end pending complaints of people in far-flung areas. He added that some of the complaints had been pending for over a year and it would give an opportunity to the back hand office at CM’s Secretariat to assess real problems of the people.

The CM was very enthusiastic about the coffee table book on his political career by photographer Pawan Kumar. “I am surprised to see such good photographs of mine and I am thankful to Pawan,” he said.

The media helpline-1800-1800-303 is the first of its kind in the country where media persons can register their complaint 24X7 and will receive a response number for making any entry.

Meanwhile, Yadav, along with the poets Gopal Das Neeraj and Uday Pratap Singh, appreciated the move of the state Information department in bringing out a special edition on the birth anniversary of Amrit lal Nagar. Both the poets also narrated some selected poems and appreciated the CM for love and respect showered on them.

Vibha Nagar, daughter-in-law of late Amrit lal Nagar, was present on the occasion. She thanked the government for remembering her father-in-law who passed away in 1990.

Two-time Everest climber Santosh Yadav also thanked the Chief Minister for giving her such honour.
