Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has condoled the death of farmers in Banda district due to lightning and extended a financial help to the family members of those died in the accident.
A Government spokesman said that Government has decided to give Rs 2 lakh each to the bereaved families of the deceased farmers. This financial help would be over and above financial assistance farmers would get under Farmers’ Accident Insurance Scheme, he said.
