Reiterating his commitment to improve infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that Samajwadi party Government has increased road networking because good roads help in speeding up development.
“It is said that America built roads and it built America. It is true for every region, every country and every state. We have built Agra-lucknow Expressway which will be operational in record time. This expressway connects thousands of small villages which provides farmers freeway to take their produce to nearest mandi,” yadav said while addressing first batch of trainees at the state-of-the-art HCl campus coming up in Chak Ganjaria here on Wednesday.
He said all the district headquarters are now connected with four-lane all season quality roads. This will help in reducing commutation time and speeding up development.
“It is Samajwadi Party which introduced Metro train in major cities. The progress is holistic. If we have built Metro rail for the rich, we have also built cycle tracks for the poor. If my government is committed to build smart cities, we are also improving infrastructure in villages through lohia Awas Yojana and Janeshwar Mishra Gram Vikas Yojana.” Chief Minister said.
He also talked about government schemes in health, education, and power sectors. He also elaborated on the IT Policy which has been appreciated in investment meets held in Mumbai and Agra.
Yadav said that the Samajwadi party government is providing more job opportunities to the young workforce by inviting private players to invest in UP. HCl had done it in UP. It had developed Noida as IT Hub and now CG City would be known as next IT Hub of the state.
"UP has the advantage of having the largest population, an asset that we want to convert into a highly productive workforce through initiatives such as this one with HCl. I would like to congratulate HCl on investing in imparting skill and giving employment of the local youth”, he said.
HCl had earlier this year, announced the project to train skilled youth which will create 1000 local jobs in a year. These jobs will also potentially create indirect jobs of equal magnitude in the city.
Shiv Nadar, Founder and Chairman - HCl in his address said, “All through the years, since inception of its business in UP, HCl has been committed to furthering growth and progress of the State. leveraging the skilled talent pool available in the city, we can make HCl lucknow a pride of the IT industry, putting it on the global information technology map. I thank the government of UP for their continued support in making this dream a reality.”
The creation of HCl lucknow is in line with HCl’s strategic vision to expand and create opportunities in UP, he said.
