Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has alerted the officers to ensure no loss of human life due to Electric shock. He also directed to fix the responsibility of such officers and take stern action against them.
Taking the incidents of death due to electric shock or after coming in contact with high tension wire due to any breakage etc very seriously, chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday directed the top officials to conduct probe and fixed responsibility so that necessary action could be made against the guilty.
Directing the officials to take all preventive steps to ensure causalities due to electric current, Yadav asked the district administration to forward all possible help including monetary assistance in case any incident resulted into death or injury to victims. It may be mentioned that Akhilesh Yadav had already increased the compensation amount of death due to electric current from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh.
