Meanwhile on Thursday, Uttar Pradesh recorded 77 fresh coronavirus positive cases and one death, taking the total number of infections and fatalities to 17.07 lakh and 22,705 respectively.
Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad said that 98 COVID-19 patients had recovered during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 16.83 lakh.
