When chief minister Akhilesh Yadav called on the two minor sisters from Bulundshahr to hear trauma about how their father killed their mother just as she did not have a son, in yet another bizarre incident reported from Mau, a man killed his two minor daughters just so he could go for second marriage to have a son.
The sensational incident was committed in the wee hours of Saturday. The local villagers who rushed after hearing the screams of the victims had nabbed the accused and handed him over to the local police. According to reports coming from Mau, 39-year-old Kamlesh, hailing from Bhiti locality of Kotwali area in Mau had two daughters Sneha (10) and Anjali (5) but had no son.
According to local villagers, Kamlesh wanted to get married with other woman so his wish of having a son could be fulfilled. The villagers claimed that Kumar’s first wife (mother of the two children) already died four years ago under mysterious circumstances so he wanted to get married but he found his two daughters a `hurdle’ in marrying with another woman.
Reports further said that to remove both his daughter from his way for second marriage, Kamlesh planned to eliminate both. As per the plan, he gave some intoxicants to the two girls with food on Friday night and when they both were in fast sleep, he hacked both to death in the wee hours of Saturday. However, as the girl screamed so the villager managed to nab Kamlesh. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. An FIR was lodged and against Kamlesh and was arrested and sent to jail.
Meanwhile in two more separate cases reported from Mathura and Hapur respectively, two women were alleged to be raped before being murdered by the accused. According to report in the first case filed in Mathura, the body of a woman was found stuffed in a suitcase near a canal on the Delhi-Agra Highway,
on Saturday morning. The half-naked body was spotted by villagers who informed
police. The deceased, who was aged around 35 years, had multiple stab wounds on her body. “The woman was probably killed somewhere else and her body has been dumped to conceal the crime,” local police said adding that the victim might also be sexually assaulted. A case has been registered and body was sent for post-mortem. Efforts were also made to maintain identity of the victim as it would help in tracking down the criminals.
In another case reported from Hapur, 40-year-old Meenu, a resident of Sabdipur area in Hafizpur locality of Hapur went for morning stroll and went missing on Friday morning. Her family family members went to report the matter but local police advised to search the woman on their own. The matter took an ugly turn when the body of the victim was found lying in the fields outside the village later on Friday night. The victim seems to be gang raped and later strangulated to death. The circumstantial evidences also suggested that the killers might be known to the victim hence in fear of being caught by the police, they killed the victim and escaped.
Reports said that the news of rape and murder of the victim went like a wild fire and within no time, hundred of villagers took road and ghearo the local police station. Demanding action against the guilty cops who refused to search the woman, the agitated crowd attacked the police pelting stones on the cops. later after half hour of pitch battle, the cops somehow defused the matter and convinced that the case will be registered and that the accused would be brought to books at earliest.
