Advocating Samajwadi Party Government’s commitment to work for the uplift of poor and dalits, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that his Government has used every penny of the government exchequer for the development of the state.
"The Samajwadi Party Government does not believe in splurge of Government money. We have never wasted money in construction of memorials and parks in the memory of caste leaders. We have used money in construction of hospitals and strengthening of delivery system," Yadav said while addressing a series of rallies in Bahraich, Faizabad and Barabanki on Friday.
He said people have liked the policies of the government and therefore they will vote for Samajwadi Party. "The last four phases of polling has proved that a positive wave is there in favour of Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh and this wave will help us to win maximum number of seats from this state," he said.
"There are some people who will come and speak to you about Gujarat Model and make promise false development. This model is only in air. This is a real failure. People are suffering in that state while in Uttar Pradesh people are progressing. They are getting jobs, free education, free health care facilities and even the farmers are getting free water for irrigation," he said.
Hitting out at Congress he said if country is facing problem today it is because of Congress. It has failed to curb price rise and corruption. "Therefore, people want to see its back," he said.
In this political scenario only Third Front will form the next Government with Mulayam Singh Yadav as next prime Minister of the country, he declared.
