State BJP president Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey said that the people have liked the clean politics of Modi and Yogi governments and its impact would be visible in the by-elections of Kairana and Noorpur.
Addressing party workers after BJP candidate for Noorpur Avani Singh filed her nomination, Pandy said that the work done by BJP governments at the Centre and UP, has confused opposition parties. "They know that the days of their caste and religion-based politics was over now," he said.
Avani Singh, is the widow of two-time BJP MlA, lokendra Singh Chauhan, whose death necessitated the by election in Noorpur Assembly segment.
“In the BJP regime, the poor are getting houses, free power and gas connections. Welfare schemes are being implemented without any partiality. What the BJP governments are doing is the reflection of the principles of 'Sabka saath, sabka vikas',” he said.
Pandey said that the opposition might have fielded a joint candidate but the people will vote for development as they know that the BJP can usher in development in this region.
