Flaying the BJP government, the Communist Party of India (Marxists-Leninist) alleged that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s claim of a corruption-free administration had been exposed.
In a statement, CPI(ML) state secretary Sudhakar Yadav alleged that transfer/posting, animal husbandry and Bundelkhand Expressway scams had put the state government in the dock.
“The present Yogi government is only four months old at present but scams have started to surface. The newly-constructed Bundelkhand Expressway caved in at several places in different districts a week after it was inaugurated. People want to know whether or not the agency assigned the task of construction was taken to task,” he said.
“Following the transfer scam, the officers and ministers are trying to save their skin. Earlier, the officials had usurped Rs 50 crore in the name of treatment of animals in 2021-2022,” he alleged.
