Alleging that the gathering in prime minister Narendra Modi’s rally is hired by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati charged the Central government of making move to withdraw reservation to Dalits. She claimed that the BSP will never get Modi succeed in snatching the reservation and even went on to say that they will also fight for providing reservation to upper cast also on economic basis. Addressing a election gathering in Mau to seek vote for mafia don turned politician Mukhtar Ansari and his son in Mau on Tuesday afternoon, Mayawati said that following the ideology of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) BJP wants to eliminate reservation system. She claimed that BSP is going to make government by securing majority seats while BJP and Samajwadi Party (SP) are fighting for second and third phase.

Slamming ruling SP government Mayawati said now public wants to get rid of crime, corruption, loot, murder, rape and land encroachment. There is atmosphere of terror in state. CM is inaugurating undone projects and claiming that UP is developing. Mayawati said SP government continued many projects which were started in BSP government’s tenure by merely changing the name. Akhilesh government changed the name of Mahamaya pension Yojana to Samajwadi Pension Yojana to take credit.

Commenting on family feud of Yadav clan Mayawati said that SP patron Mulayam Singh Yadav insulted his brother Shivpal Singh Yadav to fulfill political desires of his son Akhilesh Yadav.  Now both camps (Mulayam-Shivpal) operating to defeat each other. BSP president said that SP and BJP both can’t promote the state. And due to wrong policies of both public was agitated against them and wanted that BSP should come to power. She warned Muslim community that if they vote to BJP their ballot will go waste.

Terming the promises of PM Modi as fake and alluring Mayawati said that public will not be influenced with theses promises of PM Modi. She said that Prime Minister is making false promises to waive the loans of farmers.  Hitting back on PM Modi, Mayawati said that PM Modi is just doing ‘Jumlebaji’. She said now public is calling Bharatiya Janata Party as Bharatiya Jumla Party’. BJP has no CM face in this election, she commented adding that small gathering in PM’s visit is also hired otherwise the people now did not want to hear PM.

Mayawati said that criminals will be in jail after BSP comes to power. Women will feel secure and innocents will be released from jail. She said that development projects started in her regime will be restored after BSP gains power. Interestingly, she made above claims while seeking votes for jailed gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari, arguing that his victory will erase his “bahubali (muscleman)” image. “I urge you to vote in large numbers, thereby ensuring a comprehensive victory for Mukhtar Ansari...once Mukhtar wins

the assembly polls, his ‘baahubali’ (muscleman) image will gradually diminish,” she said. Mukhtar, who faces 40 criminal cases, including those of murder and kidnapping, recently joined BSP after the merger of his Qaumi Ekta Dal (QED) with ruling SP failed to take place due to strong objections from Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. QED merged with the BSP to consolidate its Muslim vote bank in some constituencies of eastern districts where the Ansari brothers have their strong influence.

Mayawati also accused SP and BJP of having double standards about such “strong arm” politicians and said both the parties have “soft corner” for people like Raja Bhaiya, whom former CM Kalyan Singh of BJP had described as “kunda ka gunda.”   But, both these parties help Raghuraj Pratap Singh, popularly known as Raja Bhaiya, in elections, she alleged.  Whenever these parties come to power, they make him minister, she said. Raja Bhaiya was minister in a BJP government in the state and currently he is a cabinet minister in Akhilesh government.
