Both Centre and state governments are just selling dreams among the innocent people to win their trust. There is nothing like governance in Uttar Pradesh, this was stated by national president of Rastriya lok Dal Chaudhary Ajit Singh while interacting with the newsmen at party headquarters in lucknow on Monday.
RlD president was in lucknow to discuss party’s stand on various issues besides taking part in the membership drive in which former education minister Dr Masood Ahmad and former minister of state status, Shiv Karan Singh joined the membership of RlD. Chaudhary Ajit hoped that the organizational work in the party will gain a momentum after inclusion of the stalwarts of other political parties in RlD fold. “The leaders who joined the party had faith in RlD ideology and they will enrich RlD organisation by their political exposure and good political vision,” he said.
Chastising the Samajwadi Party ruled UP government, he said there was nothing of sort which could be termed as governance. “People are facing a lot of hardship. The crime rate is witnessing spurt and public is at the receiving end of the whims and fancies of the bureaucrats and politician of the Samajwadi Party. like their sugarcane grower brothers, those farming potato and paddy are also pitiable condition. The chief of the UP government and his cabinet had failed to control the deteriorating condition of the state,’ Chaudhary Ajit remarked.
He also flayed the central government for bringing new ordinance by amending the existing land acquisition bill. “The central government has been exposed by its move to bring the ordinance which is anti farmer. The new ordinance will help the capitalists and builders,’ he pointed out.
Chaudhry Ajit was also critical to the Aam Admi Party which rode to power after a landslide win in Delhi Assembly election. “Both BJP and AAP are dream sellers and are exploiting the public which wish to have a government of their own and which can address their problems. The public should be cautious of such political parties,’ he said while stating that RlD ever had worked for farmers, youths, those of downtrodden class and for the minorities.
Ruling out the possibility of any alliance with BSP, he said the party had struck a tie up in council election only. “It is a matter of future course of action whether the party will go for an alliance with BSP in assembly election scheduled in 2017,’ he said. Senior RlD leaders including RlD state president Munna Singh Chauhan, national secretary Anil Dubey, Central UP president Rakesh Kumar Singh Munna and Yuva RlD president Shyam Narayan Singh were present on this occasion.
