Demanding a CBI probe into the police recruitment a delegation of Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) met Governor Ram Naik and demanded action against the guilty officials who have deprived youth from their rightful claim on government job.
“We have urged Governor to force Akhilesh Yadav Government to recommend CBI or SIT probe into the police recruitment and have also highlighted government’s insensitivity towards extending relief to the farmers who lost their crop in the unseasonal rain,” BJP state president Dr laxmi Kant Bajpai told reporters here on Thursday.
He said the government is working in a reckless manner. While the youth are denied job in the government, the farmers have denied adequate compensation. “The farmers lost their crops following unseasonal rains and what government offered them is just a peanut,” he said.
BJP state chief said that government has used unlawful measures to give jobs to undeserving candidates. Whitener was used on OMR sheet to change answers. Besides, government called just 55,000 youth for interview for 40610 posts whereas the rule says number of candidates for interview should be three times of the post.
“In that rate it should be 1,21,830 while government called only 55,000 candidates for interview. This smacks of foul play,” he said. leaders of the BJP legislature parties in Vidhan Sabha and Vidhan Parishad Suresh Khanna and Hridaya Narain Dixit were also part of BJP delegation.
