In a fresh trouble for minister of civil supplies, Raghuraj Pratap Singh aka Raja Bhaiya, the designated court of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) here in lucknow rejected the `Final Report’ filed in connection with murder of Suresh Yadav, in which deputy SP Zia-ul-Haq and one another were also sprayed with bullets.

Special Judicial Magistrate, Manoj Kumar Singh, while taking cognizance of the killing on Thursday had rejecting final report filed by CBI and had summoned Raja Bhaiya along with his brother Akshay Pratap Singh aka Gopalji, Guddu Singh, Rajeev Pratap Singh, Sanjeev Singh, Jitendra Pal, Nanhe Singh, Kamta Pal, Ajay Pal, Vijay Pal, Bulle Pal, Munna, then Hathigawan station house officer (SHO) Manoj Kumar Shukla, then Kunda SHO Sarvesh Kumar Mishra, and slain Dy SP’s gunner Imran. All the above including Raja Bhaiya were directed to appear in the court on October 3 for further hearing.

According to lawyers of Pawan Kumar Yadav, who filed a protest application in the CBI court against the FR, they informed the court that all the killings were part of well orchestrated murder in connivance with the local police at behest of Raja Bhaiya so a trial in the case should be made under the charges of murder, and other relevant IPCs. The court finally accepted the arguments after CBI failed to corroborate their findings, and had cancelled the FR and summoned the accused on October 3.

CBI had earlier registered four cases relating to murder of three persons, including Zia-ul-Haque, then Deputy Superintendent of Police in Kunda and two other persons, namely Nanhe Yadav and his brother Suresh Yadav, both of  Pratapgarh, in separate incidents on March 02, 2013 on the request of State  Government. The investigation into the alleged murder of Suresh Yadav, brother of Nanhe Yadav has been completed by CBI after which they filed a closure report as it emerged during investigation that Suresh Yadav had died after sustaining fire arm injuries from his own DBBl gun. The public is reminded that the above findings are based on the investigation done by CBI and evidence collected by it. However, Suresh’s family challenged the above closure report in the CBI court and finally the judge took cognizance and cancelled the FR.
