Rebel Bahujan Samaj Party leader RK Chaudhary has announced to hold a rally under the banner of  BS-4 ( Bahujan Samaj Swahibman Sangharsh Samiti) at the Bijli Pasi fort in lucknow on July 26. The day coincides with the birth anniversary of Dalit icon Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj.

Addressing media persons on Monday, Chaudhary said that he will announce his future strategy at the rally. One of the founders of BSP, Chaudhary had quit the party last month levelling serious charges of corruption against Mayawati.

Former leader of Opposition Swami Prasad Maurya, who had also resigned from the BSP on June 22, has already announced to hold a rally in lucknow on September 22.

Choudhary said there was need for setting up an alternate forum to counter BSP chief Mayawati who has destroyed the mission of ‘social change’ floated by Dr Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram.

"Under the cover of social engineering for bringing the upper caste under the party fold, Mayawati has coined several useless slogans and sold the social change movement to those forces who were the target of the movement launched by Kanshi Ram. We have to now create a new momentum to achieve the dream of our leader Kanshiram," he said.

Chaudhary said that the present BSP has been reduced to a money spinning racket and even senior leaders wre feeling suffocated and were likely to desert the party in future.

"Kanshi Ram travelled several thousand kms on his cycle to set up BSP and collected donations of Rs 10 or Rs 20 through coupons. But now, Mayawati is collecting crores of rupees by auctioning tickets for Assembly polls. She even sold tiockets for Panchayat polls for Rs 5 lakh each," he alleged.
