BSP expels MlA involved for alleged role in Bajrangi's murder

Expulsion of former MlA, loksesh Dikshit from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) created controversy just as the leader had lodged a case against East Uttar Pradesh Ganglord, Prem Prakash Singh aka Munna Bajrangi for making extortion call. Bajrangi was sprayed with bullets just few hours after he was shifted to Baghpat district jail, just to produce in the case lodged by Dikshit.

Soon after the controversy started on Friday, leaders of BSP on Saturday claimed that the decision to expel Dikshit from the Party is taken as the leader was involved in anti-Party activities. ``We not removed lokesh Dikshit from the Party as he lodged a case against slain gangster Prem Prakash Singh aka Munna Bajrangi for making extortion call but just as he was involved in anti-Party activities”, one of the BSP leader disclosed while trying to defuse the controversy. The Party incharge of the Saharanpur-Meerut Region, Satyapal Peple, in the explusion letter also reportedly mentioned the reason behind the action as anti-Party activities.

It may be mentioned that Party sources said that Dikshit was removed from the Party on Friday just as lodged case against Bajrangi.  The Eastern UP ganglord was taken to Baghpat Jail in the above case where Sunil Rathi shot him dead inside the prison just few hours after Bajrangi reached Baghpat.

Sources said that Bajrangi was very close aide of underworld don turned politician, Mokhtar Ansari, a MlA who was now in BSP.

Sources also confirmed that Mokhtar was not happy with Dikshit over latter’s move of lodging a case against his (Mokhtar) close associate Munna Bajrangi but he remained silent. However, soon after Bajrangi was eliminated after being taken to Baghpat to produce in the court in connection with the said extortion call case, Mokhtar, who too faces threat to his life, immediately made his mind clear to the top BSP leaders after which Dikshit was shown the door.

Besides other sensational killings, Bajrangi, at behest of Mokhtar had eliminated his arch rival and BJP MlA, Krishnanand Rai, after he opened fire burst with AK-47 killing over half a dozen persons including Rai. later Krishnanand’s wife Alka Rai became MlA from BJP. In the recent killing of Bajrangi also, some senior officers apprehended that it might be executed to avenge Rai’s killing. Sources further maintained that if the above apprehension comes true, than Mokhtar (the brain behind Krishnanand Rai’s killing) will be next target. State government already claimed to have strengthened his security.
