BSP candidates accused party cheif Mayawati

The five BSP candidates from different Assembly segments of lucknow, who were expelled from the party on Wednesday, accused party cheif Mayawati of demanding money. They also claimed to have resigned from the BSP and said that the party misguided the public about their expulsion.

“Mayawati always demands money and soon after the last Assembly poll, she called us and said that a powerful leader left after taking Rs 50 crore rom her. So to fulfill that loss, all the leaders had to contribute Rs 15 lakh each,” alleged Ajay Kumar Srivastava, Saroj Kumar Shukla, Rajeev Srivastava, Yogesh Dixit, and Shivshankar `Shankari’ during a joint press conference held in lucknow on Friday.

All five claimed that BSP had lost it’s base and had no vote bank of even Dalits but still Mayawati was trying to pressure every leader to extort money. All five leaders claimed that they had already submitted their resignations and were hence shocked to learn a day later that they had been expelled from the party.

The five BSP candidates from lucknow were expelled from the BSP with immediate effect for ‘being involved in anti-party activities’ and their expulsion letter was issued by BSP’s lucknow district chief Dr Harikrishna Gautam on Wednesday.

Meanwhile another veteran leader Naseemudeen Siddiqui, who was also shown the door by Mayawati, has called a workers meet in Chitrakoot Dham on coming Sunday.

Siddiqui said that he convened a meeting of workers of Chitrakoot division comprising Chitrakoot, Banda, Mahoba and Hamirpur, to give shape to his outfit Rastriya Bahujan Morcha (RBM).

It may be mentioned that so far, Siddiqui has claimed his outfit as a apolicitical organisation fighting for separate statehood for Bundelkhand.
