Showing his commitment towards BJP the new entrant in the party Swamy Prasad Maurya said that time has come to throw out corrupt BSP and inefficient samajwadi party out of power in Uttar Pradesh.
“BJP has emerged as the first choice of the people. The surging multitude is indicator that this is the party which will form the next government in Uttar Pradesh,” Maurya said while addressing party workers here on Wednesday.
Maurya was given a grand welcome by BJP workers after he joined party in New Delhi two days back. Amid bursting of crackers and beating of drums party workers welcomed Swamy Prasad. “Can any one expect such a grand reception,” he said in a chocked voice as he declared that 120 more of his supporters have joined BJP.
“I was in BSP for 20 years. I have seen the good and the bad days. I have no hesitation in saying that Mayawati’s regime was one of the most corrupt regimes in the annals of Uttar Pradesh. I wise like a lotus in BSP which remained untouched by the corruption,” he said while the supporters shouted zindabad.
He attacked SP and BSP both saying these parties do not have vision. The only ethics of these parties is protecting personal interest while the Bharatiya Janata party has a vision to build nation. This is the party which talks about all sections of the society – be it rich or poor, he said.
He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and national president of BJP Amit Shah fr giving new direction to the party. These are the leaders who do not get swayed by personal interests. The party workers looks at these leaders with reverence.
“I can say with conviction that BJP will sweep the next assembly elections. This party will form the government of its own. No one can stop the party from coming to power now,” he said.
State general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak said that party’s graph has gone up with induction of Swamy Prasad Maurya. The BJP will now be able to reach OBC givinbg a dent to BSP.
