BJP's Maha-parivartan rally remains flop show: BSP

Published on:

The Bahujan Samaj Party  has termed the  Maha-Parivartan rally of the BJP organised by former BSP leader Swami Prasad Maurya in the state capital as total flop which was addressed by party president Amit Shah.

BSP president Mayawati in her statement released here on Wednesday evening claimed that the rally was a total failure where BJP leaders tried to pull crowd by bringing in their national president. But still it showed that the people have rejected the so called 'failed' leaders of the Party, who have now switched sides and were trying to lure the dalit community by raking up  the idologies of Dr B R Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram.

"This flop rally proved that whoever left the BSP, their political careers too ends there and there is no question that the Bahujan Samaj follow them to other Parties," she said in a statement. The former chief minister of UP also defended the charges made by BJP president Amit Shah about corruption against her previous government. "We have sent to jail the ministers and leaders involved in corruption and recommended CBI probes. We are not like BJP who gave all facilities to Vijay Mallaya and lalit Modi, so that they can easily escape from the country," she alleged.

The BSP president was very critical on the comment of Amit Shah on the big bungalows in which she lives. "It is an anti-dalit mindset which speaks such thing. These people do not like a daughter of a dalit  staying in a decent bungalow," she commented. She also attacked Amit Shah alleging that BSP president was trying to confuse the people of the State by telling lie like the Prime Minister.

Earlier, Amit Shah attended Maha-Parivartan rally organised by former BSP leader Swami Prasad Maurya at the Rama Bai ground where the BJP president had hit both the BSP and SP for corruption and other issues.
