The legislators of BJP will stage two-day long dharna opposite Vidhan Bhawan from September 29 to protest against the deteriorating law and order situation and prevailing power crisis in the state.
The decision regarding this was taken in the legislature party meeting here on Wednesday. leader of legislature party in the state assembly Suresh Khanna said that BJP law makers would stage two dharna, starting from September 29 opposite Vidhan Bhawan.
“The people are living under perpetual fear because of deterioration in law and order in the state. This Government came to power with a promise to improve curb crime but has failed to do so. To highlight Government’s failure the party legislators will hold two day dharna,” Khanna said.
He also declared that party law makers would stay put at dharna sthal on night and leave the place on September 30. Meamwhile, party spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak questioned transfer policy of the state government saying the officials who were transferred for non-performance were again given charge exposing the Government through and through. “Why these officials were transferred if they were to be retained later,” Pathak asked.
