BJP trashes SP chief's charges on laptops

Sharply reacting to Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav’s allegations  that the Yogi government had changed pictures while distributing laptops, the BJP government refuted the charges that no changes were made in laptops. State government spokesperson and Health Minister Sidharth Nath Singh said that Akhilesh had failed to control his family and to divert the attention of people from the controversy over the Mahagathbandhan he was trying to make a big fuss about a trifle and it was much ado about nothing. “We have not changed any photo and there is no such plan too,” Singh said, contradicting the claim of the SP president, but hinted that new photos would be included, when the government would give new tablets to the state employees. “The SP president has wrong information that the photos are being changed,” he said. Earlier, in the day, Yadav tweeted that the present regime was hijacking good works of the Samajwadi Party government. “But now, they are changing the photos of the laptops given by the SP government,” he alleged. “People will jettison the BJP, which has failed to deliver,” he had said. The laptops, distributed during the SP regime, had the photographs of SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
