Upping its ante against state government the Bharatiya Janata Party has declared that its MPs will stage a dharna outside Vidhan Bhawan on July 4 to oppose the anti-people policies of the state government.
BJP’s state spokesperon Vijay Bahadur Pathak said that Member of Parliaments from UP will sit on dharna against the anti-public policies of the Uttar Pradesh government on July 4. “Some ministers will also take part in this protest,” he said.
This protest is an extension of BJP’s anti-state government protest from June 24 to 27. These protests will be held at all the district headquarters. local legislators and office-bearers will take part in this protest, he said.
“The issues to be highlighted by BJP during protest are compensation to farmers, condition of law and order, power problem, bad condition of roads, deteriorating health services, scribe’s death”, Pathak said.
In another statement he questioned as how the illegal sand mafias were able to block the flow of rivers while the local administration remained a mute spectator. It has come to light that the flow of rivers like Yamuna, Sone, and Betwa has been clocked at 15 places. “Can one imagine that this is being done without the knowledge of police,” he said.
All these bridges were dismantled after the intervention of High Court. This speaks volumes about the working of Akhilesh Yadav Government,” Pathak said.
