In the backdrop of Mathura land grabbing and violence, BJP president Amit Shah said that the party would launch an agitation against the illegal grabbing of government and private land in Uttar Pradesh by the ruling Samajwadi Party cadres.

``The Samajwadi party is the party of land grabbers whose leaders have occupied the government land and the land of the poor people across the state. The BJP would invite the complaints from the common people on e mail to be published soon. We will fight against the land grabbing at administrative, legal and political level’’, said the BJP president Amit Shah addressing a press conference here on Tuesday.  He said the BJP would launch an intensive agitation to free the grabbed government and private lands by the goons of the Samajwadi Party in the state,

Alleging that confusion at  top political levels prevails in UP, which is ruled by at least six  chief ministers of a family, Amit Shah  said `` the SP government is neck deep in corruption   and to name a few are the Nutrition food scandal in  Integrated child development scheme and Yadav Singh of NOIDA’’.

He alleged that both the BSP and SP were hand in glove. ``The SP government has not taken against any of the corruption cases of the Mayawati regime while the BSP regime protected the goon of the Samajwadi party’’.

BJP president accused the chief minister Akhilesh Yadav of creating hurdles in the implementation of the centrally sponsored schemes for political reason so as to deny the benefits of those schemes to the common people.

``UP government has so far done nothing for the implementation of the Crop insurance scheme billed as game changer by the agriculture experts. Till Monday evening the tenders were not finalized by the state government’, said Amit Shah adding `` for the funds released by the Centre for the panchyats , as many 40 out of total 75 district have not received  money so far’’.

Similarly UP government has failed to prepare the e register for the payment of the wages of the workers of MNREGA, thus denying them the benefits of the scheme. Same is the fate of National lively hood mission, health schemes, Prime Minister Avas Yojna. `` The SP government keeps blaming the centre for their own lapses’’, said the BJP president.

.Amit Shah said that the present Samajwadi party government of Akhilesh Yadav has failed to deliver and no one can stop BJP from coming to power in the state in 2017 as the people are frustrated with the deteriorating law and order and misrule.

“law and order is a state subject, yet the UP chief minister keeps blaming the Centre for the intelligence failure in Mathura violence. The SP government is weak and inept, if they cannot  manage the affairs of the state  then Centre is ready to take up the policing system in the state,” he said  adding that `` BJP is ruling in 15 states of the country but  nowhere  such anarchy is to be found  as seen in UP’’, said the BJP president.

When asked about the allegation of his and the UP BJP president’s criminal background, the former Gujarat home minister, said that all the charges against him were lodged out of political vendetta. Answering to other question Amit Shah said that the situation in UP would change automatically after BJP comes to power.

On the Ram temple issue Amit Shah said that temple at Ayodhya is not a political issue for the BJP. “We want a grand temple at Ayodhya but it should be constructed either with the court orders or on consensus and Ram temple was never a political issue for the party.

On the   chief minister face of the party for the 2017 assembly polls, Amit Shah said the party is yet to decide the issue. Commenting on the independent candidate supported by the BJP for the Rajya Sabha and eighth candidate for the Council elections. BJP leader said “we are only supporting the independent candidate for Rajya Sabha who can defeat the SP and BSP candidates.”  Denying that BJP is involved in horse-trading, he said,” It is for the candidates to mobalise support for themselves and the BJP has nothing to do with it.”
