Realising that trading community has been adversely hit by demonetisation the state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to hold traders’ meet across the state educating traders about the necessity to cull high value currency notes as well as the mis-rule of Akhilesh Yadav government.
BJP state president Keshav Prasad Maurya said that these Vyapari sammelans will be held across the state. It will start with divisional headquarters and then will be held at district and block levels.
Vineet Kumar Sharda, who has been made the convener of this sammelan said that these meets will be held between January 8 and 14.
“These sammelans will be held at Noida, Muzaffarnagar, Bahraich, lucknow, Aligarh, Jhansi, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Banda, Mathura, Sant Kabir Nagar (Basti), Gorakhpur, Maunath Bhanjan, Moradabad and Barelly. Union Ministers and senior central leaders of the party will address these sammelans,” Sharda said.
He said that traders have suffered the most during Samajwadi rule. In last four and half years 9887 industries have either closed down or have shifted their base to neighbouring state of Uttarakhand. Besides this 13988 cases of extortions have been reported and in over 400 cases policemen have been beaten up, the BJP leader said.
“People want to get rid of this jungle raj because the ruling Samajwadi Party leaders are busy in minting money. What is happening in the first family is reflection of prevailing corruption in the government. The senior leaders are fighting to get control of money earned through illegal means,” he said.
Sharda said that the traders will also be educated about demonetisation and how to use digital technology for betterment of their business. “Trading community is with Bharatiya Janata Party. They have some apprehensions that need to be removed. These meeting s will provide that platform to traders,” he said.
