BJP spreading anarchy claims SP

Published on:

The Samajwadi Party has alleged that after failing to find a suitable Chief Minister candidate, the BJP was attempting to spread anarchy in the state and creating a bedlam in the Assembly.

The ruling party further charged the BJP that its conduct in the House has proved that the outfit had nothing to do with issues of the common people and redressal of their grievances.

``The BJP has so far filed to find a suitable CM candidate and are hence indulging in theatrics, disturbing the Assembly thus making fun of the democratic institution,’’ charged SP spokesman Rajendra Choudhary in lucknow on Wednesday. He said that the BJP has violated democratic dignity and the conduct of the BJP MlAs indicate that they have no regard for the dignity of the Speaker’s chair in the Assembly.

Condemning the BJP legislators’ conduct in the Assembly  in the last two days, Chaudhary said, ``It was the duty of Opposition parties to raise issues concerning the common man inside the House on Wednesday. There are clear norms and procedures for conduct of Parliamentary business of the Assembly, but the BJP’s sole purpose seems to to creating anarchy in the state.’’

``The BJP is an utterly confused and frustrated outfit and its cadre are clueless on the line of action in the election year. The party is busy recruiting defectors from other parties thus adding to the confusion among its rank and file,’’ he said.

The SP leader claimed that the BJP was passing through a difficult phase as its much-hyped Tiranga Yatra failed to make any impact on the masses.

Condemning the demonstration staged by BJP workers in front of the Vidhan Bhawan on Wednesday, the SP leader said, “Under the garb of peaceful demonstration, the BJP cadre went berserk  and indulged in reckless violence causing injury to  several journalists and police personnel.”
