BJP seeks clarification from opponents over development

lambasting the ruling Samajwadi Party for its obsession with "Modi Fobia", the state BJP has asked the opponents of the party to clarify that whether they were against the development of Uttar Pradesh on the pattern of Gujrat which has emerged as a role model for the development and good governance in recent years under the able leadership of Narendra Modi.

The state BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak while talking to mediapersons on Monday said that earlier an egoistic minister and now the ruling party in its official statement was claiming that it would not allow UP to become Gujrat. " What non sense this is all aboutIJ Gujrat has registered industrial growth rate of 16 percent and agricultural growth rate of11 percent and people getting power supply there uninterrupted on cheaper rates than UP" he said.

The state BJP spokesman said that Gujrat is a riot free state and many of its schemes have been followed by the central governmment besides many state governments. " Who are these people wanting to block the path of development of

the UP just to fulifill their vested political intrests" asked Pathak. " Akhilesh Yadav Gopvernment has completed 14 months in office what it had done to ensure power, drinking water and other basic civic amenities for the people" he asked further.

Further attacking the SP Government, the state BJP spokesman said that Gujrat is a crime free state while law and order in Uttar Pradesh has touched its nadir. "No one

feels safe in UP mainly the girls and women who being constantly subjected to the physical assault, molestation and rape" Pathak alleged adding that it would have been

better for the Chief Minister to concentrate in resolving the problems of the people instead of getting himself indulged in "Modi Fobia'.
