Questioning Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav’s claim to provide health care facilities to the people, the state unit of BJP said that when people are not getting treatment in State capital how can Government assure medical help in rural areas.

"Manvendra Paratap died in Trauma centre of KGMU on Sunday because of non-availability of stretcher. He and his relatives struggled to get stretcher for eight long hours and by the time help reached he died. This is the stark reality of hospitals of State capital," Patak said while reacting to Chief Minister’s announcement to launch a new scheme for mother and child called Hausala..

During his daily briefing here on Monday he said that even a former legislator died in Bahraich district hospital after his relatives failed to get bed.

"The health facilities in the state are basseted with corruption. Instead of launching new project the government should first look for the ways and means to
weed out corruption," he said.
