Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced three candidates of the total five for the bi-ennial elections to Graduate and Teachers constituencies for UP legislative Council to be held next month.
State BJP spokesperson Dr Chandramohan released the names of three candidates after approval by state president Keshav Prasad Maurya.
The candidates are Dr Jaipal Singh Vasyth from Bareilly -Moradabad Graduate seat, Dr Arun Pathak from Kanpur Graduate seat and Devendra Pratap Singh from Gorakhpur-Faizabad Graduate seat.
The election for the Council seats will be held on February 3 and the counting will be held on February 6.
