BJP list a symbol of  social justice; Yogi ‘Mafia, criminals' dominate SP list’

The Samajwadi Party and Rashtriya Lok Dal alliance has shown its true colours and real character in its first list of candidates released for the UP assembly elections.

The SP, which ruled Uttar Pradesh from 2012 to 2017 by being hand in gloves with the mafia, goons and criminals, has once again bared its intentions, said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here on Sunday.

Launching a blistering attack on the Samajwadi Party, Yogi Adityanath said that this time the SP had joined hands with RLD but had again readied the script of anarchy, hooliganism and mafias for the public.

Samajwadi Party has once again distributed tickets to criminals and rioters for the upcoming assembly elections after terrifying Uttar Pradesh with rioters, criminals, and this shows the dual character of the SP and the politics of hate, Yogi underlined.

He further said that the people responsible for the Kairana exodus were being given tickets and also on the list were rioters of Muzaffarnagar, and professional history-sheeters, thereby exposing the true character of the Samajwadi Party.

Yogi Adityanath said on the other hand, the first list of its candidates released by Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday reflected the party’s commitment to social justice. He added that it was for the people of the state to see how rioters and criminals dominated the list of the Samajwadi Party.

He pointed out that Madan Bhaiya, who got a ticket from Loni constituency was counted as a dreaded Mafiosi but both Akhilesh Yadav and Jayant Chaudhary had conveniently forgotten this. He said 31 cases were registered against Madan Bhaiya from 1982 to 2021, including murder cases.

The chief minister reminded people of the exodus of Hindu families from Kairana after the Muzaffarnagar riots and said that by giving ticket to Nahid Hasan from there, the SP had exhibited its true communal side. Nahid Hasan has 17 cases registered against him in Shamli and Saharanpur districts.

“Similarly, 23 criminal cases are registered against Haji Yunus, who is the SP candidate from Bulandshahr. Dilnawaz who is contesting from Sayana also has a criminal history,” the chief minister said, adding that by giving tickets to such people, Akhilesh Yadav had made it clear that the SP was ready to throw western Uttar Pradesh into the communal fire once again.
