BJP law makers from Uttar Pradesh will visit the neighbouring state of Bihar to spread the message of good governance and pro-people and pro-poor policies launched by the Modi Government in the last three years.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will take the lead as he would be holding a rally in Darbhanga on June 15 and address Rs Modi fest’ - a programme organised to highlight achievements of the Union Government.

According to sources, the CM would be on a two-day visit to Bihar and is also expected to address a rally in Patna but the programme has not been finalized as yet.

On the other hand, Deputy Chief Minister and UP BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya will visit Nalanda to address a public rally. Incidentally, Nalanda is the home district of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

BJP general secretary Salil Bishnoi said in lucknow on Thursday that senior BJP leaders will be going all over the country and the visits of the CM and Deputy CM to Bihar were part of the campaign.

"Two Union ministers from UP, Krishna Raj and Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti will also tour Bihar while ministers in UP cabinet Srikant Sharma, Surya Pratap Shahi, Dara Singh Chauhan, Swatantra Deo Singh and Swati Singh will go to different parts of UP making people aware of the achievements of the Modi Government," he said.

Meanwhile, the decision of UP ministers and legislators touring Bihar comes on the backdrop of the possible joining hands of SP and BSP and leaders of both parties were likely to share dias in Patna on August 27.

"The BJP is not worried about speculations of alliance between the SP and the BSP . If these parties join hand, it will go against them as workers of both parties cannot unite. If it actually happens, it will only benefit the BJP in the state,” party leader Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.

UP Rashtriya Janata Dal president Ashok Singh said that lalu Prasad Yadav had spoken to both Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati and they have given positive signals.
