The BJP lashed out at the UP government on Saturday, for the rampant copying in the High School and Intermediate examinations of the UP Board. The BJP charged that the incompetence of the SP government has destroyed the education system in the state.
The party pointe dout that over 7 lakh candidates were not appearing in the examinations and this was a big scam as the government has no explanations to offer as to who were these examinees and why they are not taking the exams.
BJP spokesman Manoj Mishra said in lucknow on Saturday that mass copying in the examinations is underway with tacit approval of the SP government. He said that anarchy and unchecked copying has destroyed the sanctity of the examinations. He said that the situation was so bad that the TV channels were airing live footage of unhindered copying in examinations across UP, of which the state government is not even aware of.
The BJP spokesman that such students passing the High School and Intermediate examinations have a bleak future and stand little or no chance in competitive exams for higher courses and jobs. The party demanded the state government to curb the menace of mass copying and ensure that examinations were conducted in free, fair and transparent manner.
