“The BJP Government will unearth corruption of Akhilesh Yadav government and punish the guilty. It will not be an act of political vendetta but a part of party’s commitment to provide clean administration in Uttar Pradesh,” Yadav told reporters in Etawah here on Sunday.

The Union Minister was on his way to Mainpuri the district where he will stay for a night under BJP’s campaign to strengthen party’s base. Now, the central government funds are being utilized in a better manner. The results of co-coordinated effort would be visible in Uttar Pradesh soon, he said.

“Under the new Central government scheme over 50,000 Gram Sabha will get direct fund from the government. The budget for rural development is to the tune of over Rs 1 lakh crore for this fiscal. The aim is to take over 50,000 villages (rpt villages) out of poverty net. The villages will be given Rs 1.50 lakh under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana,” the union minister said.

He said that the previous UPA Government used to construct 75 km road per day but in this regime this has gone up to 130 km per day.
