Blaming the Opposition for the prevailing mess in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the BJP Government has put redressal mechanism at place so that people deprived of government benefits could avail them and the state could march on the path of progress.

“The state has suffered in the last 14-15 years because of the faulty policies of successive governments, which promoted nepotism and corruption. The result was that the state lagged in development and the law and order situation worsened,” Yogi said while addressing media persons at a function organised at lok Bhawan to celebrate BJP’s 100 days in office.

At the function, Yogi released a 50-page booklet titled ‘100 din vishwas ke’ and its cover had the smiling faces of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Adityanath. All ministers of Yogi Government were present on the dais when the Chief Minister read out a speech.

“This government is dedicated to the development of people without any bias. Hence, the administration has been made accountable and sensitive so that benefits of the government schemes reached the last man,” he said.

Voicing satisfaction over the performance of his government, the CM said that the perido of 100 days was such a small time to judge any government’s performance, but we have taken it as a challenge and the results have been very positive.

“The ‘lok Sankalp Patra’ has been our Gita and we are fulfilling promises we had mentioned in the dopcument,” the CM said.

Yogi elaborated on schemes launched in the last 100 days which include farm loan waiver of over 86 lakh farmers. “The Government has inherited over 1,21,000 km of damaged road. We pledged to make state highways pot-hole free and have attained 70 per cent success. In the Power sector, we have assured 24x7 supply to district headquarters, 20 hours in Bundelkhand and Tehsils and 18 hours in villages. This government has also decided to provide interrupted power supply to Ayodhya, Devipatan, Chitrakoot, Shakumbara Devi, Vindhyachal and Namisharanya,” Yogi said.

With the Opposition baring its fangs on law and order, Yogi said that the government was committed to making UP free from mafia, goonda and corruption.

“Anti-land mafia task force has been set up which has freed 5895 hectares from land grabbers. Anti-romeo squad was set up after which cases of women harassment dipped. Government has also launched ‘Women Helpline 181’ under which 64 rescue vans have been launched. Besides, `Mukhbir Yojana’ has been launched to keep an eye on illegal abortions” he said.
