BJP is gearing up for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting during Parivartan Yatra in Agra on November 20 with directives issued to the neighbouring districts asking party workers to attend the rally in large number. Senior BJP leaders are also monitoring the arrangement and were out to bring people from 20 Assembly segments. The biggest task is to persuade people to come and attend rally because majority of them are standing in queue outside banks, he said. PM’s rally is a part of the six public meeting to be addressed by Modi in each of the six regions of the state. Earlier on November 14 he addressed a similar meeting in Ghazipur in eastern UP.
BJP has been doing everything to popularise PM’s programme. Over 50 special hoardings highlighting Modi’s 73 policies are being displayed inside the rally ground at Kothi Meena Bazar.
The party is expecting a turnout of over two lakh people in the rally.
Meanwhile, the security forces including the elite SPG have already started making preparation for the PM’s Sundayprogramme at the Kothi Meena Bazar rally ground. This would be the first meeting of the PM in Agra after he addressed an election rally on the same ground in 2014.
