BJP flays crime against fairer sex data

Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) flayed the crime statistics released by Police Directorate which showed that crime against members of fairer sex has declined.

"The government is a lier as well figures of crime quoted by them is also a bundle of lie”, claimed spokesman of the BJP Manoj Mishra here on Saturday evening. Manoj claimed that just to present a good picture of SP regime, IG (law and order) in his crime figures for last two decade showed that just 8 girls were teased in 2012. " Even a small kid could easily say that how many girls were teased daily”, he said adding that it was height for a government official to present such distorted fact just to defend the government.

Citing the figures of National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB), BJP spokesman charged that SP government was number one in the country as far as crime is concerned. He said that violence is on top in UP and the State alone contribute 12.5 per cent of total crime committed in the country.  He said that in crime against children, dowry deaths, kidnapping, and other sensational crimes, UP remained at the top in Samajwadi Party’s regime.  He said that in the House also, BJP MlA Suresh Rana, now arrested for violence in Muzaffarnagar had revealed that just in 45 days of SP regime, state witnessed 699 murders and 263 cases of rapes.

Meanwhile Manoj also threatened the State government for making unnecessary delay in deciding the place for BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s rally in Kanpur, Jhansi and Bahraich. He said that the rally will he held in time and if state government will made any politics over the issue, than they will be not responsible for any kind of untoward situation. " SP Government is intentionally making delay in giving us place for Modi’s rally and changing the venue without any justified reason”, claimed Manoj while attacking the State government for doing politics over the issue.

He claimed that Modi’s rally in Kanpur has been first postponed on Government’s request and they later changed the venue from  Phoolbagh to Gautambudh Park and even now they were not giving permission claiming that the venue once again had to be changed due to high tension wire going over the ground”, claimed Manoj while questioning the government that if there is any obstacle due to high tension wire than how Mulayam and Mayawati already hold their rallies at the same place. He asked the government to leave all work and first give permission for Modi’s rally or be ready for any eventuality as they will hold the meeting on scheduled time.
