BJP disturbing communal harmony: Akhilesh

Hitting out at Bharatiya Janata Party Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP was trying to pour vitriol against the secular forces with an aim to vitiate the communal peace and the responsibility is now on the secular parties to stop this canard.
"The BJP leaders know that its much hyped Gujarat model has failed to win hearts of the people and therefore the party has switched back to its communal agenda. The leaders like Amit Shah have openly started talking about revenge creating doubts on the minds of the people," Yadav said while addressing an election rally in favour of its candidate Yashbir Singh Dhobi in Bijnore on Tuesday.
He said that BJP leaders do not have development agenda with them. The party cannot bring a change in the lifestyle of people. Therefore, in this election people will not only reject BJP but also Congress. "The UPA-led Congress Government has failed on all fronts. The Government failed to check corruption and inflation and therefore people do not want to bring it back to power," he said.
"The Third Front will form the Government at the centre. The party which wins maximum seats will get Prime Minister’s post. Samajwadi Party is sure to sweep elections in Uttar Pradesh that sends 80 MPs to lok Sabha," he said and added: "All the regional parties will do well in their respective states. All these parties will join hands to form Third Front Government post lok Sabha elections," he said.
About performance of his Government he said his is the only Government that has fulfilled promises made during assembly elections in the record time. "We promise that villages in UP will get 22 hours electricity from 2016 and the Government will ensure payment of cane dues. Our Government has given job to 1.72 lakh shiksha mitras and new employment avenues will be opened for the youth," he said.
