Hitting out at the Samajwadi Party Government the state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party said that the ruling party was trying to create communal trouble by claiming that some organizations were planning conspiracy against Muslims.

“This is ironical that state government knows there is a conspiracy against Muslims but the Government has so far not taken any step. Why this is so. If Government knows about any conspiracy it should expose that and take action against the guilty,” BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said in a statement issued here on Monday.

Reacting to the statement of Health Minister Ahmad Hasan that a big conspiracy is being hatched against Muslims Pathak said the government should expose that. “The fact is government is trying to create communal trouble by allowing its ministers to issue such statements. If Government actually knows anything about conspiracy it should arrest the culprits,” he said.

BJP spokesperson said that in SP regime 68 incidents of communal violence have bene reported that has claimed 10 lives and left 224 injured. “This is the true face of the government has failed to control communal violence,” he said.

Meanwhile, UP’s in-charge Om Mathur will be on a four-day visit to the state from Tuesday. Pathak said that Mathur will participate in the meetings concerned with the coming panchayat polls on August 4 in Meerut, Etah on August 5, Kanpur on August 6 and lucknow on August 7 and 8.

Pathak said that earlier between July 12 and 14 Mathur had participated in different meetings of Awadh region related which was organized in the view of three-tier panchayat polls.
