BJP believes in politics of change than politics of vendetta : Vijay Bahadur

Hitting out at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for his statement against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state unit of BJP said that Modi government believes in the politics of change rather than the politics of vendetta. “The BJP works for politics of change and it is reflected the way Modi government has brought poor under mainstream. It has implemented schemes for poor including by throwing open insurance cover for them. This is the government for poor that works for the development of the country,” BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur pathak said here on Monday.

In his daily press conference he said that it is unfortunate that those Congress leaders who stay away from their constituencies and have lost connect with people are leveling charges against Modi. “It is because Rahul Gandhi is anti-development he is trying to find faults in Modi’s endeavor to find foreign investments for the country,” he said. Reacting to the charges on food park in Amethi, Pathak said that Congress was in power for last 10 years. In those years Samajwadi party and BSP supported the UPA Government from outside. “If the then UPA Government could not set up Food Park in Amethi how can Congress Yuvraj expect BJP Government to do so in one year,” he said.

“This has now been proved through documents that the project of Food park was shelved during the UPA regime. Why Rahul Gandhi is feeling shy of accepting this fact. It is news that Rahul Gandhi did not have the inkling where the Food Park was so he asked the farmers,” Pathak said and added: “This shows the seriousness of Gandhi’s claim.”
