BJP attacks Samajwadi Party

Hitting out at the Samajwadi Party Government Bharatiya Janata Party said that the government has not represented Shiksha Mitra’s case forcefully in the court as a result  future of 1.70 lakh Shiksha Mitras hangs in a limbo.

Party’s state president laxmi Kant Bajpai and BJP legislature party leader Suresh Khanna said in separate statements that Akhilesh Yadav Government is non-sensitive towards the plight of the youth. “When unemployment under this government is on the peak and highly educated youth are ready to work as peon, government’s apathy towards Shiksha Mitra is shameful,” the BJP leaders said.

Khanna said that the concept of Shiksha Mitra was launched during BJP regime and therefore party’s sympathy is with them.

BJP state president Bajai, however, said that when this scheme was launched in Kalyan Singh’s tenure there was no controversy. There is every scope to regularize the services of these teachers but this Government failed to follow the guiding principles, Bajpai said

“The corruption under this government is on the peak. No appointments made under this government are clean. A CBI probe should be ordered in all the appointments made by the UP Public Service Commission (UPPSC) since Anil Yadav became its chairman,” Bajpai said

BJP chief said that said even after having criminal record Anil Yadav was posted as the chairman of the UPPSC, which proves the intention of the Samajwadi Party government.

BJP has charged the Akhilesh Yadav government of violating the Constitutional norms by not holding the village pradhan elections in time. “Article 243-3(A) of the Constitution says that the term of the village pradhan should be of five years and the government would have to conduct the elections before expiry of their tenure,” Bajpai said.

He said that not holding the elections is a serious violation as after expiry of their tenure on November 7, 2015 they will cease to be a member and hence would not be allowed to participate in the voting for the 36 legislative council seats to be held in December.

“The UP government is conspiring to prevent the village pradhan from participating in the elections,” he alleged.

The BJP leader also questioned that when the tenure of the Kshetra and District panchayat would expire on February, 2016 why the government is in a hurry to hold that elections first and delay the pradhan elections later.

Meanwhile, BJP state president said that the party was serious in the panchayat polls and would contest in a big way though it would not be contested on party symbols
