BJP asks govt for neglecting small skirmishes

Questioning Akhilesh Government’s yen to go on a denial mode whenever state is rocked by communal violence Bharatiya Janata Party asked as why administration ignores small skirmishes that transform into big incidents.

“The Saharanpur is on the boil because of the laxity of the state government and district administration. Instead of nipping the issue at the bud the district administration lingered on leading to blood bath,” BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said in a statement issued here on Monday.

He said that instead of Government accepting this as a communal violence it has called it a caste war to diluter the situation. “Precious lives have been lost in the pogrom. Ditto happened in Muzaffarnagar. There too the Government termed the violence as caste war. Instead of taking action government is busy giving nomenclature to these violence. This shows how serious the Samajwadi Party Government is in protecting lives of common man on the streets,” Pathak said.

BJP spokesman said that Akhilesh Government is involved in appeasement of Muslims. The Kaanth incident is reflection of Government’s political plans. It has been proved through an RTI that loudspeaker was installed in the said temple since long and government, just to appease a section of society, acted against the members of the majority community, he said.

“The Government is looking at the society through a prism of religion. Which is detrimental for the society and the country,” he said.

Meanwhile, reacting to the Government decision to recommend CBI probe into the rape and murder of a widow BJP said that this was a late decision and CM was forced to take this after he drew flaks from all quarters.

“The Uttar Pradesh police has failed in all quarters. It could not carry out post mortem and failed in investigation,” Pathak said.
