BJP asks for probe

Questioning Government’s late reaction in suspending tainted Noida engineer Yadav Singh the state unit of BJP said that Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav should order a CBI probe into siphoning off of government funds.

“There is a big question mark as why the state government delayed in suspending Yadav Singh. Earlier, Chief Minister had said that Government will act only after receiving IT probe report. Has Government received that report,” BJP spokesman Vijay bahadur Pathak asked.

In his daily press briefing here on Monday he said that media was routinely highlighting the misdeeds of Yadav Singh. But the government preferred to look other way.  CM should answer as why it did not suspend the official on the onset, he said.

Pathak said as the case involves many central agencies the state government should recommend a CBI probe into the matter.
