After firing salvo against the Congressmen accusing them of running a `B Team’ of Samajwadi Party here in the State, Union Steel Minister Beni Prasad Verma seems to have silent his mouth cannon over the Party’s affair following reported warning by Rahul Gandhi.
However, he not forget to attack his one time political boss-Mulayam Singh Yadav and accused Samajwadi Party supremo of misguiding the public into the name of Dr Ram Manohar lohia.
``Mulayam called himself to be great follower of Dr lohia, a great socialist leader but what he was doing. In the name of samajwad (social reform), Mulayam is just promoting his own family members", alleged Beni Prasad Verma who
was one time said to be most close lieutenant of SP president. Interestingly the above comments were made by Beni form a platform of a government function and not in public meeting. He was addressing gathering while laying foundation stone of RINl steel proceesing unit at Kurki locality of Ambedkarnagar on Monday afternoon.
Further taking on Mulayam Singh over Muslim agenda, Beni Prasad Verma who earlier said that alleged militant of Harkat-ul-Jehade-Islami (HuJI), Khalid Mujahid was poisoned to death in Samajwadi Party’s government regime also got a clean chit by the Neemesh Commission but still the State Government which claimed himself to be well wisher of the minorities had done nothing to ensure safe
release of innoncent Muslims but instead facilitated the authorities to kill Khalid in judicial custody. Demanding an enquiry into Mujahid’s killing by sleuths of
National Investigation Agency (NIA), Union Minister for Steel went on to suspect the involvement of members of saffron brigade facilitated by Rastriya Swayam Sewak (RSS) Sangh in the blasts at court compounds in the State.
``The modus operandi in blast at Malegaon or other parts of the country in which saffron brigade members were arrested are similar to one witnessed in court compounds in UP so NIA should be given the probe so that truth come
come to the fore", Beni demanded during the meeting. Beni Prasad Verma also distributed Solar lamps to girl students, delearship certrificates to RINl product sellers. Besides a loan mela was also organised during the function.
It may be mention ed that recently in similar governmentfunction at Bharaich also, Beni said that SP could not win more than 4 to 5 seats in the Parliament elections which agitated local Samajwadi Party leaders who not only shown
black flags but forced Beni to stop the function midway.
Reacting to that incident on the very next morning, Beni went to claim that his Party will not even hesitate to truck with Bahujan Samaj Party to defeat Mulayam Singh Yadav in Mainpuri in next Parliament elections. Not only this, he even accused his own party leaders of working as `B team’ of Samajwadi Party. His comment for Party leaders invited ire of Rahul Gandhi who reportedly warned
him from going public for any party related matters in the future or be ready to face the music. The local Congress leaders also raised objection during their meeting with Madhusudan Mistri, the new incharge of Party affairs here
in the State.
