Beni Prasad Verma laid stress on urgent need of revamping the entire state congress

Former union minister Beni Prasad Verma laid stress on urgent need of revamping the entire state congress and demanded to appoint those as district and state heads who would actively took Party’s agenda before the public and expose the communal agenda of Bharatiya Janta Party which again came to the fore in Kanth incident at Moradabad. He claimed that he would soon expose the functioning of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) before the Party’s high command.
``I will meet Congress high-command sometime in coming week and would tell each and  everything happening to wipe out the Party from this biggest state of the country”, disclosed Beni Prasad Verma, while talking to media persons here on Saturday morning. ``Congress’s policies and programmes are more close to welfare of the public but we lack to communicate it to the masses which lead to our defeat in the recent Parliament elections”, Verma added. Without naming state president Nirmal Khatri or any other leader, Verma said that the functioning of the state Congress is not up to the mark so high Command must appoint the persons as district, city, as well as heads of all other main wings of the UPCC, who should remain in the area and motivate the workers to take up the Party’s policies before the masses. ``If you  not give time to the Organisation, the Party would not run at mercy of others”, quoted Beni saying that he would try to communicate this to senior leaders and would ask them that who so ever will be chief, but target of every Congressmen should now be to remain between the public and tell them their policies along with raising their concern on the streets, particularly in the manner in which Narendra Modi cheated the innocent public in the name of `Achche Din Aane Wale Hai”, (good days were coming).  Interestingly, he denied of being in race for the State President.
Denying rumors of him being changing any Party,  former Union Minister, said that he will remain in the Congress forever and would work to ensure that Rahul Gandhi would became prime minister of the Country. ``Even after recent defeat, the Congress is still the best and only national party in the country and very soon the public would also once again realise it and give it’s full support”, Verma said that before leaving for his native village in Barabanki.
