Beni, who also met Rabe Hassan Nadwi, rector of darul-uloom Nadwatul ulema, religious seminary popularly known as `Nadwa’, to seek his blessings made the above comments soon after visiting the Party office to look into the damages and to meet the Congress workers who were injured in the attack, on Saturday afternoon. `I came here just to awaken the Congress leaders from their slumber and ask  them to get ready and deploy 100 youth Congress leaders so no could dare to enter office premises in the future for such kind of destructing activities", Beni claimed.

When asked whether the Congress would retaliate if the administration failed to take appropriate action, Beni claimed that his Party is a disciplined force and that they believe in peace and not violence. ``Congress believes in peace but still one should get themselves ready so that no one could come and beat us in our own home", claimed Beni while calling the leaders to get more active. Replying to a question that such intrusion of Congress office has now been a regular practice just because the State president,

Nirmal Kharti along with incharge of Party affairs here in UP, Madhusudan Mistri, both were busy in their own elections had left the Party office like a `orphanage’, Union Minister said that no there are some senior leaders who were still in the Party office but the need of the hours is to galvanise them to make the Party more active. Interestingly, Beni defended the Akhilesh Yadav’s government on the issue of attack at Party’s office as alleged by other senior leaders who accused both Samajwadi Party and Bharatiya Janta Party of shaking hands to facilitate the goons to vandalise the Party office.

``I see no role of Samajwadi Party’s government in the attack at Congress office but I can confidently say that as there is total break of law and order situation in the present regime hence the morale of the goons and criminal elements is so high that they even dared to ransack the oldest political party’s office and that too in Raj Bhawan vicinity", Beni claimed while making the poor law and order responsible for the attack. He also demanded arrest of Ganga Charan Rajput and threatened that if the administration failed to nab the real culprits than Congress would not also sit quite and take up the issue to it’s logical conclusion.

later in the evening, Beni Prasad Verma along with other senior Congress leaders including Siddharth Priya Srivastava, Dr Masood, JP Singh etc visited Nadwa and met Rabe Hassan Nadwi, rector of darul-uloom Nadwatul ulema, religious seminary popularly known as `Nadwa’.
