Alleged mastermind of almost all railway recruitment paper leaks besides other examination, Bediram, once again fell into the net of sleuths of Special Task Force (STF), this time in connection with Assistant loco pilot exam conducted the Railway Recruitment of Allahabad. The breakthrough in this regard has been made by the STF when they nabbed two candidates, including nephew of Bediram, taking the examination fradulently.
``We are already trailing behind the kingpin of railway recruitment papers leaks Bediram, and following fresh disclosure after arrest of two accused on last Sunday, they further strengthened their surveillance network and managed to arrest the gang leader, Bediram, on Wednesday”, disclosed SSP STF Amit Pathak, while addressing the media persons here in the evening. He said that Bediram was earlier also arrested in many of such leaks of recruitment exercise, and they would like to take him on custody remand to further unearth the entire racket.
When asked that  the Railway Recruitment of Allahabad, had denied of any paper leak of Asssistant local pilot examination and  had continued with the selection process, Amit Pathak said that they had never claimed of any paper leak but during arrest of the accused they received some sets of answer sheets which they would now try to match it with the papers to confirm whether the leakage has been done or the accused were just appearing in place of other examinees, and it was case of forgery. However, he said that Bediram was wanted by them for a long time and many other cases of paper leaks.
Sources said that Bediram, had a strong network in the railway recruitment and despite of being a lower grade employee in the Railways before being removed from the job, he had earned huge wealth through illegal means. Interestingly, network of his gang particularly in the railway recruitment board could be gauged from the fact that not just in Uttar Pradesh, but he also masterminded many papers leaks even in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar etc. Surprisingly, even after being arrested several times, he always managed to get bail and so for he was convicted in none of the case.
It may be mentioned that STF arrested two persons, identified as Ramakant Yadav, a  resident of Daudi in Jaunpur and Deepak Kumar Patel, hailing from Usiya Jalalpur also in Jaunpur, on last Sunday and  claimed to have busted the nexus of the imposters who used to take exam fraudulently or get the paper leaked. According to reports the Railway Recruitment Board, loco Pilot exam was scheduled in the state capital and in several other cities of the country on last Sunday. STF had got a tip about a group who used to get the exam paper leaked. STF started collecting more information in this connection. STF got the answerkeys of 100 questions and related to the aforesaid exam and the roll numbers of few candidates who were expected to take the exam. STF had sent these roll numbers and answer key to RRB Allahabad for verification. After verification the STF got the information about the arrested youths. STF got the information about the exam centres and roll numbers of both the candidates.
On Sunday Ramakant Yadav was taking exam at Bajrangi lal Sahu Inter College, Musahibganj, Thakuganj and Deepak was taking the exam at Awasiya Public Inter College, Rajnikhand, Sharda Nagar in Ashiyana. STF reached these two exam centres and informed the exam controller of these centres. When searched Ramakant and Deepak were caught taking exams using illegal means. Both the candidates have been arrested and action was being taken against them according to Copy Act. Police have recovered two mobiles, answer keys etc. Soon after arrest, STF revealing about  the modus operandi, claimed that the other persons of the group used to tell the answers to the candidates on phone which the aspirant pen down on the paper and use it for copying at the exam centre.
