Charging Akhilesh Yadav of protecting the Party leaders involved in unlawful and criminal activities, State Congress asked chief minister either to act on such elements or stop shedding tears in the name of calling the Samajwadi Party activities to be in discipline.
RsRsThe open show of muscle power and indulging in the criminal activities by the Samajwadi Party leaders had paralysed the entire law enforcing agencies and glaring example of it is free entry of a suspected SUV inside the highest protected area of RsGarbhgrih’ at Ramjanmbhome in Ayodhya just as it had a Samajwadi Party flag on it”, charged spokesman of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC), Sanjay Bajpai while attacking the SP. RsRsThe local police not dared to stop the SUV from entering prohibited area as they fear of repercussion and it was only the Central forces who stopped the suspected vehicle”, claimed Bajpai.
Congress leader further said that a listed criminal cum property dealer hailing from Samajwadi Party opened fire at a senior police officer right under the nose of the state government here in lucknow two days back. The local police tried to take legal action, but SP MlA Sharda Pratap Shukla and former SP MlA Rajendra Yadav, had gheroed the police station and demanded to release of the criminal and later to lodge a cross-case against the police officer. RsRsWhat action Akhilesh Yadav, who recently made tall claims of stern action against the Party leaders who create trouble for the law and order, had initiated against Shukla or Yadav”, questioned Bajpai while accusing chief minister of giving patronage to such leaders on one hand and on the other trying to fool the public that he will take stern action against such elements. He claimed that luckily the local media reached the spot which paved way for the cops to arrest the criminal.
Sanjay Bajpai also raised the issue of Hamirpur where a girl self-immolated herself after being harassed and tortured by the two local SP leaders. RsRsThe family members had made several complaints to the local police but just as the accused were hailing from SP so the cops initiated no action forcing the girl to commit suicide”, asserted Bajpai while demanding that action for murder should be also taken against the cops as they were directly responsible for the victim’s death.
